Examination Results 2025
A Level
Students and staff at Bristol Cathedral Choir School have celebrated an exceptional set of A-level results, reflecting years of hard work, commitment and ambition. Almost a third of all grades awarded to students at the school were A or A* and two thirds of grades were B or higher. More than nine in ten students have been offered their first choice university place – including nine to Oxbridge and nine to take medicine, dentistry or veterinary courses.
Staff at the school are incredibly proud of the students. Our A-level success reflects the dedication of teachers, support staff, and families who have worked together to provide a challenging and nurturing environment for students to thrive.
We would like to congratulate all our leavers on their achievements and look forward to hearing about their future successes.

GCSE
Year 11 students at Bristol Cathedral Choir School celebrated a great set of GCSE results – and one of the strongest in the school’s recent history. One in four students achieved an average grade of 7 across their GCSEs and one in ten achieved an average grade of 8. Almost 80% of students passed English and Maths with almost two thirds achieving a grade 5 in both.

We are delighted at what our Year 11s have achieved – it reflects the hard work of staff and students towards the learning of a rigorous, academic curriculum. We wish students all the best in their next step of their education.
