Sixth Form places are still available at BCCS

If you would like to study A levels at BCCS and have met our minimum entry requirements (6,6,5,5,5 with a 4 in English Lang or Lit) then we may have a curriculum to suit you. Contact us on 01173535000 or via email on to discuss what we can offer you.

Students are encouraged to volunteer as it can be extremely rewarding and a great way to

  • meet new people
  • gain new or use existing skills
  • get experience
  • make a big difference to your community

Young people can also volunteer either at school or in their own time. If you’re aged 16 or 17 you can take part in the National Citizen Service (NCS) - more details can be found here.

There are also several organisations that offer volunteering opportunities.

VOSCA - lists latest volunteering jobs is a database of UK volunteering opportunities. You can search more than a million volunteering opportunities by interest, activity or location and then apply online.

Headstart - An innovative volunteering programme which guarantees a job interview to anyone completing 16 hours of volunteering.
