Bristol Cathedral Choir School pupils achieved excellent GCSE results in 2016, crowning a golden year for the academy. 84% reached the benchmark of at least five A*-C grades including English and mathematics, while 39% of GCSE examinations taken at BCCS gained A* or A grades.
In 2016, BCCS had its best-ever A-level results. Seventy per cent of examinations taken were awarded A*-B grades, confirming a rising trend over the past four years. Thirty-five per cent of examinations gained grades A* or A, while a quarter of all students achieved results that averaged out at three grade As or above.
