GCSE Results 2017

 BCCS is pleased to report that students have produced excellent outcomes at GCSE.

 Context

 New grades in English Language, English Literature and Maths on 1-9 scale.

  •  7-9 is equivalent to A-A*
  • 4 is a “pass” and equivalent to C (the same proportion of students are expected to get 4 or higher as previously C or higher).

  • 5 is being described as a “good” pass

  • other subjects will be graded 1-9 next year
