PSHE (Personal, Social & Health Education)

Our Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) Curriculum aims to help children and young people develop fully as individuals, as members of families, and as part of social and economic communities. Its goal is to equip young people with the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and practical skills to live healthily, safely, productively and responsibly.

Students are taught where possible in mixed-ability House groups, although occasionally the timetable may require them to be taught in other groups (e.g. Maths sets). In Year 7, where possible, House Leaders teach this curriculum. The topics explored are part of a Bristol-wide agreed PSHE Curriculum and are age-appropriate for the year groups they are taught to.
